We can always use more helping hands for this activity on the Third Monday of each month. We begin about 8:30 am with twenty or so helpers from our church. Join us as we reach out to our local community. More details can be found by clicking here.

Our church is a point of contact for many in the community looking for help with groceries, gasoline, medical bills, etc. In addition to HEB gift cards, we also provide a personal hygiene bag. Please contact the church office to volunteer to help keep a supply of these bags available for our neighbors.
United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
UMCOR is the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church, which assists United Methodists and churches to become involved globally in direct ministry to persons in need. UMCOR works with vulnerable communities to strengthen self-sufficiency and encourage partnerships, respond to U.S. and international disasters, address diseases of poverty, minister to refugees and immigrants, provide clean water and actively works to reduce hunger.
FUMC Lockhart periodically responds to UMCOR requests, called "advances". If you or your community group would like to participate in a UMCOR Advance, you may learn more at the UMCOR Website, and leave your donation in care of FUMC Lockhart. Our office will ensure your collection or donation is routed to its intended destination.
